The data we request from you are adequate, relevant and strictly necessary and in no case are you obliged to provide it to us, but failure to communicate it may affect the purpose of the service or the impossibility of providing it.
Additionally, we may process data from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, as Processing Managers, when providing administrative services, training, language courses, lodging, career guidance or Alumni activity.
We will keep your data for the shortest possible time that is necessary to properly provide you the service as well as to fulfil the responsibilities that might arise from it and any other legal requirements.
Fundación Universidad Carlos III will not communicate its data to any third party, unless expressly informed.
We also inform you that certain data, under the current regulations or the contractual relationship you have with the Fundación Universidad Carlos III, may be communicated to:
- Banks and financial institutions for the collection of contracted services and/or purchased services.
- Public administrations with competence in the sectors of activity of the Fundación Universidad Carlos III, when established by the current regulations.
To administer international work placement, the Fundación Universidad Carlos III may, on occasion, transfer the personal information that it has gathered about you to third countries outside the EU/EEA that are not considered by the European Commission to be countries that provide an adequate level of data protection. In accordance with the GDPR, this transfer will be completely necessary in order to be able to manage the development of the work placement. In any case, we will use adequate safeguards for such transfers: the EU’s standard contractual clauses.
