DONORS

Management of voluntary contributions (donations, sponsorships, etc.) carried out with the aim of supporting the solidarity actions carried out by the foundation (specially scholarships).

What legitimises us to process your data?

The legal basis for the processing of your personal data, depending on the category of the interested party, may be:

The data we request from you are adequate, relevant and strictly necessary and in no case are you obliged to provide it to us, but failure to communicate it may affect the purpose of the service or the impossibility of providing it.
Additionally, we may process data from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, as Processing Managers, when providing administrative services, training, language courses, lodging, career guidance or Alumni activity.

How long do we keep your personal data for?

We will keep your data for the shortest possible time that is necessary to properly provide you the service as well as to fulfil the responsibilities that might arise from it and any other legal requirements.

Who will we share your data with?

Fundación Universidad Carlos III will not communicate its data to any third party, unless expressly informed.

We also inform you that certain data, under the current regulations or the contractual relationship you have with the Fundación Universidad Carlos III, may be communicated to:

Banks and financial institutions for the collection of contracted services and/or purchased services.
Public administrations with competence in the sectors of activity of the Fundación Universidad Carlos III, when established by the current regulations.

Transferring data outside of the EEA?

To administer international work placement, the Fundación Universidad Carlos III may, on occasion, transfer the personal information that it has gathered about you to third countries outside the EU/EEA that are not considered by the European Commission to be countries that provide an adequate level of data protection. In accordance with the GDPR, this transfer will be completely necessary in order to be able to manage the development of the work placement. In any case, we will use adequate safeguards for such transfers: the EU’s standard contractual clauses. If any interested party believes that their data is not being treated correctly by the Fundación Universidad Carlos III or that the requests to exercise their rights have not been satisfactorily addressed, they can file a complaint with the corresponding data protection authority, the AEPD, the one indicated in the national territory, www.aepd.es.

In order to safeguard the security of your personal data, we hereby inform you that the Fundación Universidad Carlos III has taken all the necessary technical and organisational measures to guarantee the security of the personal data you provided us with.
